Minister Uba Maigari Commissions Ultra-Modern Entrepreneurship Institute at Taraba State University, Jalingo

The Honourable Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, has commissioned the ultra-modern Entrepreneurship Institute at Taraba State University, Jalingo.

The NEDC-supported facility features conference halls, offices, and a fully equipped ICT Centre with 50 desktop computers and 20 hardware toolkits, providing students with opportunities for practical skills development, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister encouraged students to combine academic knowledge with practical and entrepreneurial skills. Vice-Chancellor Professor Sunday Paul Bako stated that the facility elevates the University's Entrepreneurship Centre into an Institute comprising four departments.

The intervention also includes a solar-powered 10,000-gallon water tank at the Female Zenith Hostel, further supporting student welfare.

The commissioning marks another milestone in the University's commitment to skills development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and academic excellence.
